My passion & mission
Why Home Pet Sitting?
-
Your pet (or you) really doesn't want to use a cattery/kennels, preferring the sanctuary of their own home. They may be anxious when away from home or need more than a pet 'hotel' can provide.
-
Your pet likes more attention, stimulation, love, play, grooming, and toilet cleaning than a drop-in visit would offer.
-
Your pet requires medication, specific exercises/treatment
-
You worry about what your pet is doing when you're out.
-
Your pet gets lonely and you need to leave them for a while.
-
Your pet needs supervised access to the outdoors whilst you're out.

At Daffodils Pet Care Therapies, my mission to raise awareness about the holistic and multimodal ways we can help our pets to live happy, pain-free, and healthy lives. I am dedicated to providing exceptional physical therapies for dogs and cats. I am a proud member of the Association of Merishia Therapists and continue to update my skills and knowledge in all aspects of physical therapy. I am fully mobile and operate from a from your pet's home, providing a tailored treatment depending on their needs in the place they feel most safe and calm.
I also provide home visits and sitting for your pets, specialising in cats with very particular needs, for when you need to leave them for a sustained period of time. I have my own 14 years old cat with health concerns who I treat and he's still going strong. I'm also qualified in Feline Behavioural Psychology, First Aid, and Nutrition. Your cat may be an indoor cat with more need for my time, company and, stimulation, or may require medication administered. You may just simply prefer more than just a drop-in and feed. All of this I'm very happy to do, trained in, and have years of experience with.

Bop & Rio
"I can't express how grateful I am for the incredible service pro9vided by Nicky. My furry boy, Rio, has had the pleasure of experiencing her soothing and rejuvenating doggy massages over the last 2 years, and he really looks forward to his regular maintenance sessions. Nicky is clearly a very skilled and compassionate physical therapist and has a genuine love for animals, and it reflects in the way she interacts with Rio. The massage itself is a tailored experience, tailored to Rio's specific needs and preferences. Nicky took the time to understand Rio's behaviour, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable session. Her gentle touch and expert techniques used during the session leaves Rio visibly more relaxed and content. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the holistic approach to canine wellbeing. Nicky not only addressed physical tension, but also focused on promoting overall relaxation and mental wellbeing for Rio. It was evident that she understands the unique needs of our furry friends, making the entire experience tailored and personalised. Since Rio's massages with Nicky, I've noticed positive changes in his demeanour. He seems more at ease and playful. It's heart-warming to see the positive impact that a thoughtful and professional doggy stretch and massage can have on our beloved pets. I wholeheartedly recommend Nicky to every pet parent looking to enhance their dog's quality of life."
Testimonials
Charlotte, Lilly, & Tipsy
"We wouldn't ask anyone else to have our cats after using Nicky's services. I've never met anyone who cares about animals as much as her, and above all else my cats adore her. She's kind, caring, trustworthy and genuinely has our pet's best interests at heart.
We have two very nervy cats who warmed to her straight away and are now totally relaxed around her after she's taken the care and attention that's needed to make sure they're happy when she's around. Highly recommend!"
Natasha & Mike
"Nicky came to see my cat Mike after he’d had a complicated castration operation. He wouldn’t keep a cone or protective vest on so Nicky came the next day with some special healing spray for the would and also did some phototherapy on the wound too. Mike warmed to Nicky immediately, which is very unusual for him has he’s a very timid and small cat. His wound didn’t seem sore at all, and it never gave him any trouble and it healed very nicely. Nicky was amazing, I would thoroughly recommend her for your dogs, cats, or any pets."
Karina, Noodles, & Pat
"I have used Nicky's services on multiple occasions with my two cats. Nicky is like no other cat sitter you'll ever meet. She doesn't just do drop-ins. She ensure cats are stimulated, get the attention they need and, if like mine, are checked for potential injuries while outdoors. On several occasions Nicky has treated my cats as one of them developed a seasonal allergy and the other landed badly on her foot. Nicky's expertise and care has put my mind at ease when away from home. My cats were excited to see her every time she came back to visit them and that speaks to Nicky's dedication and love to cats. Hands down the best cat visitor you'll ever have!"
Jess & Gus
"Nicky has helped us with Gus for over a year. He is a reactive dog and Nicky has taken the time with him to gain his trust and he now loves her! Nicky always communicates with us about Gus and how he has been. She goes above and beyond at every encounter with Gus. Thank you for everything!"
Pam & Mini
"Nicky has been amazing with my extremely nervous and temperamental dog, Mini. Mini had TPLO surgery and was still limping after a few months so I decided to try therapy. Nicky is thorough and knowledgeable, and explained so much to me about Mini’s physiology and recovery. After the second appointment Mini wasn’t limping at all and went from being scared and not allowing Nicky nearing her, to loving her treatments. Cannot recommend highly enough."
